Visit Vietnam & Cambodia 14 days: This tour brings you from Phnom Penh to Hanoi. Routes: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap - Ho Chi Minh City - Cao Dai Temple - Cu Chi Tunnels - Danang - Hoian - Hue - Hanoi - Halong.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival – Phnom Penh city tour

AM: Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check in.
PM: Go on a City Tour to visit the National Museum of Khmer Art and the Silver Pagoda, in the grounds of the Royal Palace. Afternoon visit to Toul Sleng Museum, the Killing Field and the renowned Central Market
Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap tour (B, L)

Fly to Siem Reap in the early morning at 7: 15 (K6101). Upon arrival at Siem Reap at 8: 00 AM, we are welcomed by our guide to transfer to the hotel. This morning, we start our tour to Small Circuit to witness the Prasat Kravan (Cardamon sanctuary), where we will experience the stunning image of the eight-armed Vishnu in the largest central tower. Then we get going to Banteay Kdei, a massive Buddist temple with four concentric walls; Srah Srang (Royal Bath); especially to Ta Prohm, which is best known for its originally charming look, with trees and roots intertwined with the carvings and chambers of the buildings. Next, if time permitted, we move to just east of Angkor Thom where stand the Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda that seem to be known as the twin temple, and to Takeo, the only temple never completed and yet one among the finest.

Day 3: Siem Reap- Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom (B, L)

In the early morning, we enjoy our time with sunrise at Angkor Wat, then start the tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, then go to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor's greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now. Then we go to Baphoun, which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor’s temples in its heyday; to Terrace of the Elephants that was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall; to Terrace of the Leper King, another of Angkor’s mysteries. In the afternoon, we visit the World Seventh Wonder -better known as Angkor Wat- that stands as the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretch over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire. In the evening we view the sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill before the dinner (on guest’s account) with Khmer Traditional Dance Show.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Tonlesap – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

This morning, drive to the Tonle Sap Lake, actually a combined lake and river system of huge importance to Cambodia, supporting over 3 million people and providing about 75% of Cambodia's annual inland fish. An unusual seasonal occurrence is one of the reasons the region is so productive: The monsoon rains pour so much water into the Mekong River that it briefly forces the Tonle Sap River to flow backwards, swelling the Tonle Sap Lake in western Cambodia to more than five times its normal size. After a visit to the Floating Village, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City at 17: 45. Upon arrival at 18: 45, transfer to your hotel, located in the heart of the city within easy access to shopping, touring and dining.

Day 5: HCMC – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)

Breasfast at hotel. We then travel by roads to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American war.
Back to HCMC for check in and relax.

Day 6:   HCMC city tour – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

AM: We start our tour with a visit to the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to this sight are some of the best French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office. Visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, the War Remnant and the bustling Ben Thanh Market
PM: Transferred to the airport for flight to Da Nang at 15: 50 (VN 1320). Upon arrival in Da Nang at 17: 00, you will be picked up and transferred to Hoi An for check in and relax.

Day 7: Hoi An (B)

Free & easy. Discover the beauty of Hoi An city & beach. 

Day 8: Hoi An – Hue city tour (B, L)

AM: After breakfast, drive to Hue. Visit Royal Citadel which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long in the style of French military architect Vauban during the first decades of the 19th century. Before leaving the site of Imperial city we visit Imperial Museum, many precious objects which were salvaged from the Imperial city then we visit Khai Dinh Tomb, have lunch
PM: A boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang tomb, visit Dong Ba market.
Overnight in Hue.

Day 9: Hue – Hanoi (B)

AM: Free & easy
PM: Fly to Hanoi at 15: 20 (VN 1542). Upon arrival at 16: 30, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check in and relax.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi – Halong on Glory Cruiser (B, L, D)

08h00 ~ 8h30: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong City through the paddy fields in the Red River Delta.
10h00: Stopover on the way for a refreshment break.
12h00: Arrive at Tuan Chau wharf – Break and photography time.
12h30: Board Glory Cruises for departure. Welcome drink will be served.
13h00: Lunch is served while cruising through the bay.
15h30: Visit exciting Cua Van fishing village. The village is free of busy roads and streets, electric lights, houses and high rise buildings. Instead, there are only herds of little boats and rafts. You will have the chance to discover the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen.
16h30: Enjoy kayaking or swimming (if the weather permits).
17h00: Back on board and continue cruising to Drum Cave (Hang Trong) to dock.
19h00: Dinner is served.
21h00: Take some leisure time to enjoy chatting at the bar or enjoy some night fishing. Relax and spend a romantic night on Glory Cruise. Accommodation and overnight on junk.

Day 11: Halong – Hanoi (B, L)

07h00: Coffee and tea will be served.
08.00: Continue cruising.
08h15: Visit splendid Sung Sot Cave.
09h00: Check out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay, passing Dinh Huong Island, fishing villages, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island and Sail Island.
09.30: Buffet brunch (breakfast/lunch) while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier.
11h30: Arrive at the pier. Time to say goodbye to the crew.
12.00: Return from Halong to Hanoi.
14h00: Stop over in Dong Trieu town to visit a ceramics workshop.
16.00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the trip.

Day 12: Hanoi city tour (B, L)

AM: After breakfast we start city tour with Ho Chi Minh Complex for visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda. Continue to visit Literature Temple, the first University in Vietnam in 16th century. Have lunch in one of famous restaurant in Hanoi.
PM: Visit Ethnological Museum, Hoa Lo Prison or “Hilton hotel” then have Cyclo in the Old Quarter, enjoy Water Puppet show in the afternoon.
Overnight in Hanoi..

Day 13: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Bich Dong (B, L)

8: 00 depart to Ninh Binh, enjoying the rural scenery along the road. Visit Hoa Lu old citadel. Have lunch at restaurant before take the rowing boat along the tiny canal among the rice fields to visit Tam Coc (Three Grottoes). Go back to the car for going back to Ha Noi. Arrival in Hanoi at 18: 00, check in hotel and relax.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 14: Hanoi – Departure (B)

Relax until transferred to the airport for your ongoing at 13: 15
(Pick up at hotel lobby at 10: 15 AM).
