Hue Festival highlights royal music of three countries
The Royal music of Viet Nam, the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Japan will be performed during the Hue Festival in 2006.
The RoK will send a royal music band from the former capital city of Gyeongyu, while a 15-member Gagaku troupe from Japan's Okinawa will perform during the festival.
The Hue Festival 2006, themed "700 years of Thuan Hoa-Phu Xuan-Thua Thien-Hue: Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development", is scheduled for June 3 - 11, 2006.
